Northern Light x Big Bud

Northern Lights and Big Bud are both well-known and very influential Indica strains that had become favorites of smokers and growers from many different countries. Crossing them was undoubtedly a brilliant idea. The offspring of these two didn’t disappoint the breeders, and, most importantly, it didn’t disappoint the growers’ community. Many commercial growers also prefer this strain due to obvious reasons – a lot of bud in just 7 to 8 weeks of flowering time – isn’t that great?
Needless to say, the Northern Lights x Big Bud is a purebred Indica so all of you Indica fans can come along. It has everything that you would expect from such a monster – massive yields, immensely-sized and juicy buds, and, of course, plenty of – this numbers goes up to 22%! And there is also a lot of CBD, which greatly increases the medicinal potential of any strain thanks to its pain-killing, sleep-inducing and anti-psychotic properties.
When we called the yields “massive”, that wasn’t an exaggeration. In fact, Northern Lights x Big Bud is able to give you up to 400-600 grams of dried bud per square meter indoors and from 300 to 500 grams per plant outdoors! It’s possible due to the fact that these plants can grow to some extraordinary height, one and a half meters is average for them. Keep the height under control, if you can. It can be done using several methods, including LST, SCROG and SOG, or simply pruning the plants.
