Exodus Cheese was first introduced in the 80s in the UK. As the first Cheese strain, it grabbed way too much attention, but to be honest, it deserves all the fame and praise heaped on her. What you’re seeing today is one of the last generations derived from the original. Incredibly, she has retained all the characteristics of the original, thanks to the efforts of the breeders at Greenhouse Seeds.
Exodus Cheese is synonymous to taste, quality and potency. She’s beautiful in a unique way whether you consider the colors or thickness of the buds. The nugs are thick and dense with large amounts of crystals that not only taste good but look gorgeous as well.
Taste
Naturally, Exodus Cheese will produce cheese aromas. Sometimes, a distinct skunk aroma becomes apparent as well. As the buds mature and progress further into the flowering phase, they exude sweet and pungent aromas. At this point, your grow room will be brimming with a concoction of various fragrances including cheese, petrol, and earthy scents. The chemical-like scents emitted by the plants cannot be described in words, so you’ll have to taste her once to believe it.
Effects
Exodus Cheese contains 60 percent indica and 40 percent sativa. The effects are slow but once they hit, it takes a long time to wear off. She won’t paste you to the couch but a heavy body buzz that starts from the temples are mind-boggling, to say the least. Medicinally, she is super effective to get rid of insomnia.
Growing
Exodus Cheese will require 8-9 weeks to complete her glorious flowering phase. To get more yields, you can rely on training techniques such as SCROG; however, she yields almost 800 grams/m2 indoors and about 800 grams per plant outdoors. She loves sunlight but will absolutely thrive if you provide a greenhouse.
