New York 47

Have you ever heard of New York City Diesel? If you’re a grower, then you probably have. It’s a renowned strain from the United States that became increasingly popular amongst smokers worldwide. Like it wasn’t enough already, World of Seeds breeders made a decision to improve it even more by interbreeding it with the notorious AK-47. Now we can see that they were right – the new strain turned out to be a blast.
New York 47 will please you with its extensive yields of sticky, hairy buds that are also astonishingly dense and solid. Plants grow quickly, and, combined with a fact that they are Sativa-dominant; it makes sense to control their height using different training/pruning methods such as LST/SOG/SCROG.
New York 47 incorporates the most desirable traits from both Indica and Sativa, such as short flowering stage (10 weeks in most cases, leaving plants for longer will result in a somewhat more “stoney” psychoactive effect), top-tier productivity (400 grams per square meter indoors/pretty much the same numbers per plant outdoors) and a tremendous content (20%).
Some people prefer Indicas or Sativas exclusively, but in case with New York 47 that’s not really relevant. The strain is fantastic no matter how you look at it – it embodies the best qualities of original varieties while the drawbacks of pure-blooded strains are eliminated.
