Description

Citrus and cream sound like an unlikely combination, but DNA Genetics has proved yet again that anything is possible. A super powerful strain in their arsenal – Blood Orange Sorbet – is a wonderful mixture of citrusy Tangie and Orange Sorbet. Tangie is known for its amazing citrus notes, but when combined with Orange Sorbet taken from the company’s famous Sorbet collection, you can expect a strain that’s tough to beat.

Just the name is enough to imagine the taste of Blood Orange tantalizing your taste buds. If you’re a sucker for cannabis that tastes bloody good, this strain will knock your socks off! Blood Orange Sorbet is an Indica-dominant hybrid with at least 60% Indica, but you’ll be surprised with the effects.

The high starts off as a Sativa! Believe it or not, this strain can be one of your best Sativa hybrids you’ve ever tasted because she’ll keep you guessing. As soon as you take a puff, the creaminess of the Sorbet just glides over your taste buds, but you will not be prepared for the citrus explosion that occurs quite immediately!

Just imagine a strain that contains only the best attributes of two spectacular strains – melting creaminess and zesty citrus – yep, that’s Blood Orange Sorbet for you. Perfect for both indoors and outdoors, this strain will thrive in greenhouse environments too.

While growing indoors, containers ranging from 5-6 gallons will be ideal. You’ll need slightly bigger pots outside, though. Since she’s a photoperiod strain, it’s a good idea to start in a small pot and then transfer to a bigger one as she picks up the pace.

Containers that can hold up to 8-10 gallons of soil will be great for the Blood Orange Sorbet when grown outside. You only need to make sure that she has enough time to grow as much as possible during the vegetative period. She won’t grow too big, so smaller grow rooms will be enough.

Blood Orange Sorbet is a great choice for stealth grows as she doesn’t grow too large. But, she needs all the light you can provide since she has the potential to produce at least 450 to 500 grams of pure, unadulterated marijuana per meter square. After she completes her vegetative period, the flowering period can extend anywhere from 8 to 9 weeks and a little longer in some cases.

This plant likes to put on a grand show while growing and you can expect several colors adorning the buds. From orange to pink and green with white crystals covering her like snow, the Blood Orange Sorbet loves to flaunt her beauty.

Although she’s an Indica-dominant strain, she’s near perfect to a wake-and-bake strain that can be enjoyed at any point in the day. The flowers produce clean smoke that uplifts and energizes your entire body. Don’t hesitate to offer buds to someone who has never tried cannabis because she keeps the conversation going effortlessly with no hints of paranoia.

Since Blood Orange Sorbet contains Limonene – the terpene responsible for the tangy or citrus taste – medical marijuana users can make concentrates or edibles out of the buds. It doesn’t take a lot to be happy, and Blood Orange Sorbet is just tailored for those that suffer from depression.
