Description

Gelato Sorbet – the name sounds delicious by itself. Created by the geniuses from DNA Genetics, the Gelato Sorbet gained its name purely because of the way it impacts your taste buds. She’s sweeter than candy. And the best part is that you can satisfy your cravings for candies without worrying about the calories!

DNA Genetics combined two sweet strains – Gelato 33 and Sorbet – to create this exceptional plant. While the Sorbet collection has already gained a lot of popularity particularly because of the way it tastes, Gelato 33 is also recommended by none other than Larry Bird, the NBA superstar. Gelato has certainly managed to pique the curiosity of growers and users alike.

The Sorbet strain is not only sweet, but you can’t get over the creamy texture that makes you forget your worries for a while. When combined with the Gelato strain, you can expect great things to happen. It’s akin to a marriage made in heaven. She’s sweet, sensational, and you shouldn’t be surprised if she becomes your favorite strain pretty quickly.

The Gelato Sorbet is pretty easy to grow. No fuss at all. She won’t grow too large, so those that can’t afford huge grow tents or rooms can breathe easy. But, don’t be fooled by the height, though. She packs quite a lot of buds for her size, and you can expect anything from 450 to 500 grams of sweet ganja per meter square.

If you take good care of the Gelato Sorbet, she will shower you with rewards. Mostly dominated by Indica, you will enjoy a good night’s sleep and wake up pretty relaxed in the morning. Those tired joints that bug you every morning? Yeah, those will be a thing of the past.

She’s mostly Indica, yes, but she won’t confine you to the couch. In fact, you’ll notice that this strain manages to elevate your moods no matter when you partake. It’s a guarantee that you’ll never get enough of her fruity/dank taste that appeals to most cannabis users. Medical marijuana users can also use this strain to get rid of several ailments including chronic and back pain.

As a photoperiod strain, the Gelato Sorbet will need a few weeks in the vegetative or growing phase. Once you’re satisfied with the growth, you can shift her to the flowering phase. The flowering period will extend from 8 to 9 weeks and you can harvest as soon as most of the buds turn amber.

You don’t need large pots to grow the Gelato Sorbet. Small pots that are 5-6 gallons will suffice. She might start off a little slow, but pretty soon, the show will begin. What makes this strain beautiful is the way she packs trichomes even on those sugar leaves.

Make sure you don’t throw away the leaves because they are extremely resinous. Sugar leaves can be used to make concentrates or even Cannabutter. And when you make edibles using the Gelato Sorbet’s buds or leaves, you will never forget the mesmerizing taste that lingers for quite a while.
