DESERT DIESEL

Desert Diesel will probably remind of the dangerous Desert Scorpion, but apart from her piercing effects that almost make you fly, the strain has nothing in common with the dangerous scorpion. Now, if you’re wondering if she has something to do with diesel, you’re absolutely right because she was created by crossing the famous Amherst Sour Diesel with an Afghani Diesel also renowned as Emerald Mountain DAD.

Desert Diesel screams quality as soon as the cotyledons break out of the soil. She’s a perfectionist, considering the way she grows and exhibits the best characteristics of diesel strains. Her pistils are remarkable, and you’ll be amazed at the way the buds stack on top of each other as if there’s a race they gotta win!

Taste

Thanks to Amherst Sour Diesel, the aromas of diesel greet you whenever you tend to the plants. Rich aromas that remind you of petrol and kerosene dance around you while you stare at her magnificent beauty. Amazingly, she also emits scents that resemble delicious cream! Later, woody fragrances combined with hints of candy make it worth all your efforts to grow this wonderful strain. Make sure you dry the buds and cure them for at least 2 months to retain all the flavors.

Effects

With almost 55 percent sativa and 45 percent indica, Desert Diesel induces a mix of both indica and sativa. In other words, you’ll be relaxed while your mind takes off to unknown destinations on its own. She consists of over 20 percent , but the effects are a lot more enhanced if you extract concentrates.

Growing

Desert Diesel is known to produce more than 2 kilos of remarkable buds per plant outdoors. Indoors, the expected production ranges from 400 to 600 grams/m2. She grows like a tree and sometimes reaches above 4m, which is why it’s important to cut down on the vertical height before you switch her to the flowering stage.
