Skunk#1 is a cross of the Columbian x Mexican and Afghani. The Afghani was chosen for rich, pungent fruit aroma and the short spacing of the internodes which helps to keep stretching at flowering time to a minimum. Skunk#1 shows its Indica pedigree early on in its growth with nice fat leaves, thick stems, short internodes and a very bushy growth pattern. It is a big advantage, grown outdoors, you do not need to be careful as this is a plant that dont achieves tremendous height. Solid buds able to withstand terrible weather/conditions, a true workhorse strain for northern growers, lots of frost and smells ranging from pine to skunky fruit. Mostly finishing mid-end of September with some early September phenos possible. Its a heavy indica cross can be harvested as early as 45 days but 50 really make them shine.
