Widow Cannabis Seeds

Widow cannabis genetics have earned a solid reputation for producing plants drenched in resin. It isn’t uncommon for even the stems and branches to display resinous trichomes, but the Widow family is famous for its energizing effects too. As a sativa-dominant strain, Widow cannabis plants generate an intense rush that can be felt from tip to toe. As the high fades away, the indica sets in and you can feel a deep relaxation settling all over your body. The high occurs in stages and builds slowly as time wears on. Produced by Green House Seeds in the 90s, Widow genetics were created by crossing Indian landrace sativas with a Brazilian indica. South India boasts of some powerful landrace sativas with some strains displaying almost 100 percent sativa, so you can expect nothing but an energetic high and euphoria from Widow strains. One of the most famous strains from the Widow family is the White Widow. Thanks to her trichome and terpene production, she has grabbed many awards in cannabis cups held in different parts of the world. Since breeders created the White Widow specifically to extract trichomes, she’s an amazing strain to extract concentrates. The levels are average at 20 percent, but the buds are dank and stickier than most strains found today. The buds themselves look more like sativa rather than indica. As she progresses further into her flowering period, she displays vibrant colors including white and green. The pistils also develop a fierce orange color that transforms into a deeper red, depending on the age of the plant. White Widow is most commonly used for producing Hash. Used by both medicinal and recreational users, the buds are fluffy with wispy leaves because of its sativa traits. They smell almost like Hash once you break them up. As long as the plants grow in favorable conditions, they produce enough buds to last a long while.
